Mama & Mini – der Berliner Nähkurs für Mütter … im Nähinstitut am Moritzplatz

Mama und Mini ist ein NÄHKURS für Mamas. In den Räumen des Nähinstituts schneidern wir mit Euch, haben Jahreszeiten und Trends im Blick und Schnitte für Mode und Accessoires für Babies und Kinder dabei. Und für alle bei denen es erst bald soweit sein wird: einen Schnitt für ein schönes Schwangerenkleid haben wir auch!

„Mama und Mini“ als Nähkurs richtet sich neben Müttern und solchen die es werden, auch an Väter, Patenonkel und -tanten, Omas und Opas die Lust haben für sich oder ihren Nachwuchs selbst die Nadel in die Hand zu nehmen. Sowohl Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene sind willkommen. Babies bis 6 Monate dürfen gern mitgebracht werden, es gibt eine kleine Spieldecken-Ecke. Stoffe bitte selbst mitbringen, Zutaten haben wir dabei bzw. kann man das auch alles direkt nebenan im Modulor besorgen (ist wortwörtlich nur 5 Schritte weit bis zur Stoffabteilung).

Der Kurs kostet 10€/h und Teilnehmer.

Mütter haben nur sehr unregelmäßig und oft auch recht unplanbar Zeit. Deswegen haben wir uns von festen Kurswochen verabschiedet. Wann und wie lange du kommst richtet sich bei uns ganz nach Deinem Nähvorhaben und Deinen Vorkenntnissen – Du willst nur schnell ein Mütze nähen oder doch lieber eine ganz Babyausstattung – bei uns bist du für eine Stunde genauso willkommen wie für 5 Wochen jeden Dienstag und Freitag hintereinander. Meld Dich doch kurz um zu fragen ob nächsten Dienstag oder nächsten Freitag noch ein Platz frei ist.

Mama und Mini – the SEWING class for mothers. We show you how to create clothes for yourself and/or for (your) kids easily on your own. We are working with you on your and your kids fashionable, up-to-date wardrobe and therefor we are bringing patterns and inspiration for clothes and accessoires for babies and small children. We have even a very nice pregnancy dress! For the choice of models that we prepare for you and that you can use to sew at our cours, we are always keeping in mind the current season as well as trends in kidswear.

Of course everyone is welcome, but mainly the course wants to offer to pregnant women to mums and dads, to grandpas and grandmas the possibility to create on their own something for their little offspring. Starters as well as already Expirienced are welcome. Bring your untill 6 month old baby too, we prepared a little corner with blanket and toys. You can persue your own sewing project and come here with a pattern prepared and fabric already chosen, but we have as well a wide and beautiful choice of patterns. Please bring your fabric and if you want to buttons and zips, we provide you with all the other little things, like threats and stuff, you need to sew something professionally. The Modulor Store with a sewstuff-department is literally 5 feet away, that allows you to buy something in case of something is missing.

The class costs 10€/h per participant.

Mother normally don’t have much time or they have time that is actually not so easy to predict. That’s why we said good bye to the usual cours-week prinicple, where you take part in a course that lasts for half a year or so. When and how long you want to come depends only on your personal sewing project. You want to do just quickly a beanie in 2h or you want to come for 5 fridays in a row to manufacture your whole babydepartment – it is on you! Only thing: Please contact us to check if there are free places left for the day(s) that you want to come.
